I started my fitness journey just like anyone else. I worked out and I was making decent progress on my own. I was doing pretty well and even won a few swimsuit and beauty pageants. I always loved health and fitness, which drew me to a career in nursing, but while I was working as a nurse I heard Flex Magazine was holding a bikini model search and I decided to take a shot at pursuing my passion for fitness professionally. However, I knew I had to step my game up if I was going to be able to make such a big career shift.
This was the point that I made the decision to hire a personal trainer. I was thinking a lot of the things you’re probably thinking - Do I really need a trainer? If I do, who is the right person to work with? How do I need to adjust my diet? Am I getting the most out of my training? Am I doing anything wrong? I had a good idea of what to do, but I wasn’t confident in my craft yet, and I needed a support system.
Let me tell you, working with an experienced coach was the best decision I ever made. At the time, I didn’t realize that all of the top pros had coaches to give them guidance, perfect their diet and training, and give them unfiltered feedback about their physiques. It was at this point that I started to find my path forward, and that’s exactly my goal with every single client I work with — I want to set you on your personal path to greatness!
When you join my coaching, we will work together to create a smart, sustainable plan to transform your body with techniques I’ve learned over my years of training, dieting, and competing. Whether you have plans to compete or just want to have a more fit body to live in, we’ll create a plan that you love and that gives you incredible results
I will create monthly nutrition guidelines for you that include both a meal plan and a breakdown of your current macros. This will allow you to make adjustments in your food choices while maintaining correct macronutrient levels. We’ll monitor your progress and make adjustments each month.
After I get to know a little bit about your goals and see your starting pictures, I’ll build a workout program that addresses your strengths, weaknesses, and body composition and performance.
Staying in touch is important. Each week after pushing yourself in the gym and dieting, we’ll do a weekly debrief where we talk about what went well, what didn’t go so well, and how we can improve the next week.
